Cesa™ Fiber Additives
Hydrophobic Solutions for PP Nonwovens
Polypropylene nonwovens are used for a variety
of applications, some of which require water
repellency.
Nonwoven fabrics used in surgery
are often required to be water-repellent to act
as a barrier and avoid contamination, while
hydrophobicity for nonwovens used in filtration
helps increase the service life of filters.
The Cesa™ Fiber Additives portfolio includes
hydrophobic solutions for polypropylene
nonwovens that provide immediate and long-lasting
water repellency.

The long fiber formulations are easy to process and provide more design freedom through injection molding without compromising on dimensional stability of the component during use.
Formulations are available with glass, carbon or specialty fiber reinforcements, including glass/carbon hybrids, in engineering polymers ranging from polypropylene to PEEK.

What if you could design the needed performance characteristics
right into the housing rather than using conductive painting or vacuum metallization?
High performance without secondary
operations – When using Stat-Tech material,
painting and vacuum metallization are not
necessary in order to achieve the performance you
need from your ADAS systems, therefore cutting
down on the processing times and costs associated
with using aluminum.
You have the responsibility to conduct full-scale end-product performance testing
to determine suitability in your application, and you assume all risk and liability arising from your use of the information and/or use or handling of any product.
