** Non-HBCD means that Hexabromocyclododecane (HBCD) is neither used as starting material during the mixing phase of our products nor
intentionally added during production, but it cannot be excluded that it is not present at level of ubiquitous traces in any of the raw materials
used in manufacturing of our products.

It has no negative effect on recyclability, physical
performance characteristics or color of the
recycled material.
In some situations the Ultimate UV
range can vastly improve both the processing
and mechanical properties of packaging
incorporating recycled material.

For this manufacturer, another appealing aspect of working
with this material was Avient’s dedicated TPE production
line in Spain, which is used solely to manufacture TPEs for
overmolding applications.
The material
helps the company produce attractive, high-quality garden
sprayers featuring precisely fitting parts.
Abrasion resistance = excellent appearance to uphold
corporate image: The Avient material resists scratching
and scraping that commonly occur when sprayers are
dragged along the ground or left out in all types of
weather.

The first material is injected
through the primary runner system white the mold volume to be occupied by the
second material is shut off from the primary runner system.
Matching the surface energy on both materials is critical for
building specific interactions between materials.
TPE materials are quantified based on Shore hardness, which is a materials
resistance to indenture on a 6.3-mm minimum thickness molded plaque (ASTM
D2240).
