They are a natural color TPE that can be easily colored to match design specs or branding preferences.

Avient GLS thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) material specialists identified a current TPE within the OnFlex™ S HF, non-halogenated, flame retardant portfolio that could be slightly modified to meet the application’s requirements. Avient determined the TPE would perform satisfactorily at an 85 Shore A hardness level. High-flow properties of OnFlex S HF TPE allow the gaskets to be overmolded in multi-cavity tools (up to 12 cavities per tool).

New PolyOne TPE for Nylon Grips Improves Oil and Abrasion Resistance Material testing shows that it surpasses other TPEs on the market in resisting the oil and abrasion often encountered with demanding usage. Available in translucent and black formulations, this new overmolding TPE grade can be custom colored to meet aesthetic and branding needs.
