Avient’s team recommended the use of overmolding (two-shot injection molding) to integrate the boot with the saw housing, and trialed several products before customizing a grade from its portfolio. The new Cesa tracer concentrates are currently available for polyester and polyamide (nylon) fibers, including recycled grades. In the case of recycled grades, fiber manufacturers can use the tracer concentrate pellets earlier in the production process by adding them to the recycled polymer content (e.g., polyethylene terephthalate bottle flakes or shredded nylon fishing nets) prior to being extruded into pellets.

Based on color science and proven by scientific data, the digital tool can decrease complexity where different grades of PCR are used and is able to help optimize the ratio of virgin resin to PCR, in order to achieve the best acceptable rendering.  Works with mixed grades of PCR, both rPET and polyolefins
