Ink manufacturers match color based on a standard printing parameter on a white cotton substrate. This is a necessity to maintain control of a standard matching requirement, but it falls short under certain circumstances. Taking color to its basic root, ink can be created to match a specific hue or saturation.

The foils should be printed with a good deposit of plastisol type ink, preferably tinted toward the color of the final foil color. You may choose to pigment the gel to match the foil color. By using these in conjunction with matching print patterns, designs are given an extra punch, taking them to the next level.
