Glasforms™ thermoset pultruded composites
featuring improved adhesion resin formulations
provide enhanced adhesive properties that enable
exceptional bonding performance for end products.
Pultrusions manufactured using these
formulations can also enable the use of adhesives
to replace mechanical fasteners, reducing
complexity and improving fatigue performance.

Resin chemistry is optimized for process conditions, fiber adhesion, and end-use application of the fiber reinforced polymer (FRP).
Common resins include MDPE, HDPE, PVDF, PVC and Nylon.

However, an ongoing
challenge, especially for high-end products with
demanding aesthetic requirements, is to prevent
adhesive residue when the protective film is
removed.
Versaflex™ CF 6668 low adhesion build-up TPE for
protective film meets that need.
The formulation
delivers high initial adhesion on steel, PMMA, and
various other substrates, yet offers low adhesion
build-up to reduce the risk of residue when peeling
off film.
