Spiral flow testing of developed
products was conducted and is reported in Table 5 along with a conventional
TPE and TPV of similar hardness.
From the data it can be observed that these
overmold products show high flow compared to conventional TPE and TPV
products.
Most TPE compounds have fairly high mold shrinkage in the flow direction with
minimal shrinkage in the cross flow direction.
