SHANGHAI, China – June 27, 2023 – Today, Avient Corporation is expanding its reSound™ BIO bio-based and reSound™ REC recycled content Thermoplastic Elastomer (TPE) portfolios with the launch of a new range of halogen-free flame-retardant (HFFR) grades containing recycled and bio-based resin.

Trilliant™ HC8900 Thermoplastics are chemically resistant polymers that offer improved resistance to harsh chemicals and hospital-grade disinfectants compared to other flame-resistant (FR) polymers such as PC/ABS, PC/PET, and copolyester.

The company will highlight its extensive portfolio of thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) formulations for kitchenware and houseware applications.

reSound™ R recycled content thermoplastic elastomers (TPEs): Developed to help brand owners create more sustainable end-user products, these formulations utilize 9 to 83 percent recycled content from post-consumer recycled (PCR) and post-industrial recycled (PIR) sources.
