Johnson is responsible for Avient’s global tax strategy, processes and administration to support the operational and legal requirements of the company, while working collaboratively with Avient’s Corporate Finance and Treasury departments to ensure consistent communication on transactional and tax planning matters. Before joining ITW, he served in the international tax practice of Ernst & Young LP in Detroit, Michigan, where he designed and implemented complex cross-border transactions, holding and financing company structures, and local country planning for Fortune 500 companies.

To help address these challenges, Avient teamed up with a leading technology development company. This company designed an internal pipeline applicator to reinforce the pipe from the inside to handle the new pressure demands of hydrogen. However, the company needed a new material for this applicator that could meet the necessary strength, flexibility, and adhesive properties required for it to be easily deployed in the field.

She previously served as senior vice president and deputy chief legal officer, global operations at Eaton Corporation, a power management company. Sanders spent over 20 years at 3M Company with various roles of increasing responsibility, culminating as senior vice president and deputy general counsel supporting global business operations for all segments and manufacturing operations.

Garratt joined Avient in 2013 from Marmon Utility, a Berkshire Hathaway company, where he served as president. Garratt’s chemical career began with The Dow Chemical Company, where he served in commercial and marketing roles in Canada and the United States.
