The Solution & Impact By utilizing a combination of Avient’s OnColor™ Colorants, Hydrocerol™ Chemical Foaming Agents, and Smartbatch™ Combination Colorants & Additives, we enabled the OEM to reduce weight and carbon emissions in panel doors, increase UV resistance in instrument panels and replace traditional paint processes in central consoles. 

We can recommend initial designs or redesigns based on structural and Moldflow® analyses as well as our considerable knowledge of best practices for thermoplastic part design, flow rates and gating. Once your design is confirmed, we can also create prototypes and perform manufacturing feasibility studies, then modify the design based on this step.
