Masterbatches for Spun-Dyed PP: Remafin™ Fiber Colorants

Evoluscend™ is effective across a range of high-temperature polymers, including PEEK, PPSU, PES, PSU, PEI, LCP, and PPS, with a maximum service temperature exceeding 150°C.

Available in PC, PPS and LCP formulations, the materials can be customized for customers’ specific needs.

They can also be customized and injection molded or overmolded to polypropylene (PP), making them useful for a range of interior applications.

This latest addition to the Additives for Recycling (A4R) portfolio of solutions helps bring incompatible polymers, such as PP and PE, together by forming them into a homogenous polymer mixture that increases mechanical properties based on polymer modification and will be exhibited at the upcoming Fakuma International Trade Fair for Plastics Processing.

Common examples are polypropylene (PP), nylon (PA), polyketone (PK), and thermoplastic elastomers (TPE). Examples of semi-crystalline polymers are PP, polyethylene (PE), PA6, PA66, polyphthalamide (PPA), polybutylene/polyethylene terephthalate (PBT/PET), polyoxymethylene (POM) or acetal, polyphenylene sulfide (PPS), and polyether ether ketone (PEEK).

Additives for meltblown nonwoven PP

The colorant solutions are available in PP and PE (HDPE and LDPE) and produced with ingredients tested to European Pharmacopeia 3.1.3 and 3.1.5 as well as to USP chapters , including class VI (a requirement for ophthalmic and nasal drugs) and USP and (light transmission).

Available as a granular masterbatch for injection molding, thermoforming or extrusion, these new additives offer superior performance for most clear polymers, including polyethylene (PE), polypropylene (PP), polycarbonate (PC), polyethylene terephthalate (PET) and polystyrene (PS).
