reSound REC recycled-content grades are a part of Avient’s reSound TPE portfolio, which includes both recycled-content and bio-based formulations.
This new reSound REC TPE is a 65 Shore A hardness and contains 25 percent PCR content from recycled polypropylene (PP).
It is naturally gray, colorable, and suitable for injection molding or overmolding onto PP.

For example, a TPE that can bond to PC does not bond to PP, vice versa.
The failure mode is cohesive on

Aliphatic polyketone, often referred to as just polyketone or PK, is a semi-crystalline engineering resin that is an alternating copolymer of carbon monoxide and ethylene with some propylene (1–10%).
Interestingly, perfectly alternating polyketone copolymer results in a highly crystalline material that is very difficult to process.
