Other (expense) income, net Other income, net decreased $25.6 million in 2021 as compared to 2020 due to a mark-to-market adjustment and curtailments on our pension and other post-employment benefit obligations that resulted in a loss of $9.4 million in 2021, while it resulted in a gain of $17.2 million in 2020 (see Note 11, Employee Benefit Plans to the accompanying condensed consolidated financial statements).
