According to several expert projections, the world may produce over 400 million tons of plastic waste annually by 2030. The PCR grade is formulated with recycled ocean plastics from Oceanworks®, an accelerator program participant within the Alliance to End Plastic Waste, a non-profit group that includes Avient as a founding member. About Oceanworks Oceanworks® is the global marketplace for recycled ocean plastics.

Our products add important characteristics, such as water-blocking, water repellence, adhesion, color, and wear & UV-resistance to these and many other applications. Five of Avient’s nearly 50 U.S. facilities currently provide fiber optic cable plastics, polymers, and components which are ultimately used to enable the expansion of broadband internet access.
