Local production, which is expected to begin in January 2017, enables PolyOne to support customers with specially engineered materials in addition to the color and additive concentrates already produced domestically in India. Colorants and additives produced here serve multiple end-use markets, including transportation, electronics & electrical, healthcare, wire & cable, and packaging.

This compatibilizer additive can help overcome some of these challenges, allowing industry players to continue incorporating greater quantities of PCR in polyolefin applications. Cesa Unify A4R is a compatibilizer additive for use with recycled polyolefins, which helps enhance circularity.

Lids and protective films produced with this food contact-safe additive also remain clear, so that consumers can observe the food quality.  This additive can be used in both rigid and flexible food packaging, including mono- and multilayer structures. Available as a solid masterbatch, the additive can be extruded with packaging resins without the need for extra equipment.
