Cooling the feed zone of the barrel to prevent premature melting of the the concentrate THERMAL STABILITY Omnicolor processing temperatures pertain to the colorant system only.
Care should be used when processing Omnicolor where melt temperatures may exceed 600°F (316°C).
For polymer drying in excess of 225°F (107°C), add the colorant after the drying process, or alternatively contact Avient’s technical staff for availability of high-temperature grades.

Injection Molding Parameters These recommendations are regarded as a general starting point.
Hot Melt Hot melt adhesives are 100% solids, and are used for light duty applications.
This rotating is what helps melt and mix the material making it a homogeneous melt.

ColorMatrix™ Fiber Colorant Solutions feature a breakthrough liquid melt extrusion spin coloring technology for polyester fiber.
Liquid melt-extrusion color permits late-stage color injection, reducing waste and changeover times in the manufacturing process, and offering producers the flexibility to create as little as 50kg of fiber within the same simple process.
The technology also allows several injection points on a single spinning line, so that multiple colors can be produced at the same time.

Composition PET is produced in a melt spun and drawing process.
The three processes utilized in the production of PET fiber are polymerization, melt-spinning, and drawing or hot stretching the fibers based upon their elongation requirements.
