CLEVELAND – April 28, 2020 – PolyOne today announced the launch of ColorMatrix™ Amosorb™ 4020G, a non-nylon based, low-haze oxygen scavenger for polyethylene terephthalate (PET) rigid packaging.

Compatibility with substrates from polypropylene and polyethylene to polycarbonate, ABS, acetyl and nylon, overmolded TPEs offer the flexibility to increase product and packaging functionality across the spectrum of possibilities without compromising recyclability.

THE DESIGN The basis of a PlanetPak is a robust polyethylene liner with a proprietary collapsing design, encompassed by a cardboard outer shell. The polyethylene liner has a non-drip valve outlet that connects seamlessly to the FlexCart metering system and the outer shell is designed to fit onto the FlexCart carriage.
