Avient is leading the way in helping to support a more sustainable and circular economy through improved polyolefin recycling.

 – PolyOne today announced that Montana’s WO Design relies on high-performance GLS™ Dynaflex™ thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) to manufacture WO|Bone, a unique dog toy that supports the Ethiopia- based charity, Bring Love In. Bring Love In, the charity supported by WO Design, is based in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.

Local production, which is expected to begin in January 2017, enables PolyOne to support customers with specially engineered materials in addition to the color and additive concentrates already produced domestically in India. We’re excited and proud to have furthered our commitment to customers in India, through local production of our leading specialty engineered materials and strengthened by sales and technical support personnel.”

PolyOne worked with designers at Schneider Electric to select the material and also supported testing at the Schneider Electric R&D center in India. PolyOne’s collaborative technical support and material innovations helped Schneider Electric accelerate development of its concept – providing affordable light and power to people who do not have access to clean, safe and sustainable energy.
