Like LSR, TPEs offer you the chance to achieve a wide variety of colors and special effects with relative ease. They also require precise venting and vacuum to release off-gassing during the chemical curing process and must withstand temperatures more than twice that of TPE molds (170°F vs. 320–420°F). Keep in mind that a limited number of toolmakers specialize in LSR molds—and many are based in Europe.
