Avient’s Syncure™ XLPE Cross-linkable Polyethylene Formulations can be used in photovoltaic cable, supporting sustainable infrastructure. POMMERLOCH, Luxembourg – July 18, 2023 – Avient Corporation today announced it is expanding the manufacturing of its UL-certified Syncure™ XLPE Cross-Linkable Polyethylene Formulations to Europe, helping to reduce lead times for global customers and support sustainable infrastructure.    

Available as a granular masterbatch for injection molding, thermoforming or extrusion, these new additives offer superior performance for most clear polymers, including polyethylene (PE), polypropylene (PP), polycarbonate (PC), polyethylene terephthalate (PET) and polystyrene (PS).

This Versaflex™ PKG TPE is formulated for aluminum caps used for sealing glass, polyethylene terephthalate (PET), or aluminum containers. As an extension of GLS compression-molded cap liner technology, this non-PVC Versaflex PKG is formulated for aluminum caps used for sealing glass, polyethylene terephthalate (PET), or aluminum containers.

ColorMatrix™ Ultimate™ UV390R is a new ultraviolet (UV) absorbing additive technology suitable for both virgin and recycled polyethylene terephthalate (rPET) that allows less than 10% UV light transmission up to 395 nm and helps achieve improved bottle blowing with enhanced recyclability features, including less rPET yellowing.   Post-Consumer Recycled (PCR) Color Prediction Service is a digital service using sophisticated technology to help illustrate the color possibilities or limitations of certain types of PCR for customers, including polyolefins and polyethylene terephthalate (PET) resins.
