This small drop can be a game-changer in efficiencies for a typical PVC extruder. THE IMPACT As tests and trials were conducted, it was shown that the Excelite dispersion interacted more intimately and consistently with PVC resin, essentially becoming part of the PVC resin matrix. To illustrate, in the same PVC dryblend (pictured below), Excelite significanty reduced density with little to no effect on cell quality.

Avient’s Onflex™ Lo TPE and Maxxam™ engineered material formulations are used for interior HVAC air flaps, trays, console carrier and instrument panels, and related interior parts. These solutions helped one of our customers satisfy high Vehicle Interior Air Quality (VIAQ) standards without compromising desired surface finish, gloss level, mechanical property or density.
