THE CHALLENGES
Improving rPET Quality
• Reduce yellowing, improve color
and assure IV uniformity
Enhancing Bottle Performance
• Improve bottle strength, reduce
acetaldehyde and minimize
thread pulls & blowouts that
cause high scrap rates
Reducing Carbon Footprint
• Reduce energy consumption and
raw material usage while driving
product efficiencies
OUR SOLUTIONS
Aligning our work with sustainability
demands, we address those
challenges for rPET producers,
convertors and brand owners
alike with technologies to improve
both quality and performance,
ensuring the recyclability of plastic
packaging.
We’ll work with you to address your challenges and
help you in driving the circular economy, boosting
recyclability and meeting your sustainability goals.

The FlexCart suite of metering systems is designed
to work with the standardized PolyOne range of
packaging typically achieving 99% reliable yield on
continuous operating systems, while at the same
time also achieving a sustainable packaging format
in terms of full recyclability.
The FlexCart Micro unit,
due to its smaller footprint and reduced throughput
range, is designed to work with the LN molded polymer
containers—specifically the 10-liter pack.

ELECTRET CHARGING
Electret charging works by improving the
crystallinity and mechanical deformation of a
material, to prevent electret charging from drifting.
Charging only works when the correct additive
solution is utilized, and together with the fiber
denier, gram weight and number of layers, it ensures
the middle layer of protective masks can effectively
trap small airborne particles.

The Avient team
worked with the manufacturer to meet specific property
needs and developed a customized solution that added
soft-touch, ergonomic, and friction-free features.
The
Avient team worked carefully to develop a compound
that could utilize existing tooling to avoid additional
tooling costs.
Avient’s team attended all molding trials to assist in
establishing proper part performance and also worked
closely with the OEM on global coordination of sales,
engineering, and technical support.
