EXPERIMENTAL
Material
Two classes of “universal overmolding TPEs” have been developed and used in this study.
Injection molding of plaques
A Milacron injection molding machine was used to prepare plaques for the measurements of physical
properties and adhesion.
A 25 mm wide strip of TPE is cut
and pulled at a 90o angle toward the substrate using an Instron tensile tester.
