ColorMatrix™ Lactra™ LX Light Blocking Additive for PET A bright white, light blocking technology for UHT dairy packaging ColorMatrix™ Lactra™ LX Light Blocking Additive provides high-performance light blocking technology and protection for liquid dairy products in monolayer polyethylene (PET) bottles. Traditionally, UHT liquid dairy products have been packaged in laminated paperboard cartons, pouches, or multilayer high-density polyethylene (HDPE) and PET bottles. To increase the user-friendly aspects of UHT dairy packaging, ColorMatrix Lactra LX Light Blocking Additive expands design freedom by allowing designers to use a single PET layer bottle to create the same visible light blocking as paperboard and multilayer HDPE and PET packaging.

ColorMatrix™ Amosorb™ 4020G Non-nylon based PET oxygen scavenger with lower haze and less impact on recycle stream ColorMatrix™ Amosorb™ 4020G is a non-nylon based next generation oxygen scavenger for PET rigid packaging with a reduction in haze and lower impact on the recycle stream. The EU’s directive for use of recycled PET (rPET) in bottles will increase from 25% in 2025 to 30% in 2030. ColorMatrix Amosorb 4020G also lowers impact on the PET recycle stream due to a reduction in rPET yellowing.

ColorMatrix™ Optica™ Global PRT Toner Dispersions Handling and Usage ColorMatrix Optica Global PRT Red and Blue dispersion toners are intended for use primarily in PET bottle polymer production processes and, although they are suitable for all polyester manufacturing processes, are used successfully throughout the world on all types of PET production technologies.
