In 2016, 2015 and 2014, we recognized gains associated with insurance recoveries of $6.1 million, $3.5 million and $3.7 million, respectively, as reimbursement of previously incurred environmental remediation costs.
This increase was driven by favorable mix of $6.1 million and $3.6 million of benefits realized from the closure of two manufacturing facilities in Brazil.
