The Specialty Engineered Materials segment also achieved its highest-ever quarterly operating
income at $34 million, a 53% increase over the prior year.

temperature performance, mechanical integrity,
and excellent impact resistance for demanding
engine applications.
These robust materials also
incorporate heat stabilization to maintain tensile
strength and tensile elongation properties for long-
term thermal aging up to 120°C.

Density is measured in grams per cubic centimeters
(g/cc) with every 0.01 g/cc reduction resulting in less
material used.
A decrease in density of just 0.01–0.02 g/cc
can yield 4% annual savings in material consumption,
while generating a 4% increase in extruder productivity.
