CLEVELAND – April 30, 2021 – Avient Corporation (NYSE: AVNT), a leading provider of specialized and sustainable material solutions, today reported its first quarter results for 2021. The Specialty Engineered Materials segment also achieved its highest-ever quarterly operating income at $34 million, a 53% increase over the prior year. These high-performing materials deliver high- temperature performance, mechanical integrity, and excellent impact resistance for demanding engine applications.
