Supplier due diligence ColorMatrix has a wide ranging supply chain that supports our European operations. Avient currently does not engage in verification of its supply chains to evaluate and address risks of human trafficking and slavery, nor does it currently conduct audits of its suppliers’ compliance with company standards for trafficking and slavery in supply chains. In 2024, we launched a third-party risk system to proactively monitor supply chain resiliency across our supplier base, which would provide Avient with notification of public disclosures.

U.S. reporting companies that manufacture products (or have others manufacture products) that contain 3TG metals or their derivatives (tantalum, tin, tungsten and gold) that are necessary to product functionality or production are required to assess their supply chains and report to the SEC on whether those materials are sourced from the Democratic Republic of Congo and adjoining countries. We expect our global supply chain partners to do the same, whether or not they are subject to the reporting requirements of the Act. We require our suppliers to also engage in due diligence of their supply chains and to annually certify the origin and conflict status of the 3TG metals they supply to Avient. 10.8.20
