To enhance associate participation in our safety & health systems, goals have been set through our Annual Incentive Plan which includes a safety based metric that measures the percentage of associates that participate in a safety engagement.
This process is designed to ensure new sites operate in accordance with our high standards and to capture opportunities for Avient to improve our standards based on the acquired company’s experience.
Part of this process is to help sites develop their own EH&S Maturity Road Map that guides them through the implementation of our standards through a risk based approach.

Also, unlike para-aramid alternatives, the unique properties of Dyneema®, the world’s strongest fiber™, enable personal protection products that can achieve desirable levels of water, liquid, and oil-repellency without a need for PFAS-based surface treatments.
However, para-aramid-based solutions require a surface treatment, which typically is PFAS-based, to repel liquids, such as water and oils, because moisture and oil can negatively affect the ballistic performance of para-aramid fibers.

The PCR Color Prediction Service, helps brand owners understand what colors are achievable based on the amount of PCR used.
Using proprietary software, Avient experts measure resin characteristics to identify the gamut of colors that can be successfully reproduced in a specific PCR-based material.
Avient’s new Cesa Nox A4R Additives for Recycling are based on a special formulation that protects post-consumer polyolefins against oxidation, which can lead to defects like black spots, gels and discoloration.
