In the simplest terms, traditional TPE types are made by combining a hard material with a soft material, either chemically or by a machine.
Because producing TPEs is a very controlled and precise chemical and manufacturing process, you can make TPEs for different levels of risk and medical grades.
At Avient, we use a collaborative approach to deliver the specialty polymer formulations, services and sustainable material solutions specific to your application and property needs.

GHS generally requires more information on the hazards of chemicals to be included on an SDS, and requires it in a different format, so GHS SDSs are generally longer than before.
Why we are doing this in early 2014: GHS format for mixtures of chemicals will be a requirement in the U.S. and European Union in June 2015, but is already a reality in much of the world.
