PCC and GCC are used as fillers in polymers such as polyethylene, polypropylene and polyvinyl chloride.
Talc is a platy mineral widely used in polypropylene, polyethylene and polyamide to improve stiffness and other properties.
You should use high-density polyethylene or high impact polystyrene purge compounds at startup and shutdown and flush the barrel with a low melt-flow index polypropylene between production runs.1
