Our Cesa™ Fiber Additives portfolio includes flame retardant solutions as additive concentrates which are incorporated into the polymer during the spin-dyeing process. The concentrates offer long-term flame retardancy at low dosage and help fiber manufacturers meet key regulatory requirements by EN, DIN, UNI and others around the world. APPLICATIONS Cesa Fiber Additives for flame retardancy are recommended for spun-dyed PP, PET and PA fibers used in applications such as automotive textiles, home and office furnishings, clothing, and carpeting.

Cesa™ Fiber Additives for Heat Preservation Today’s lifestyle tends to be more focused on outdoor sports and long-distance travel, developing more functional clothing is the key for brand owners and OEMs. Fabrics made with Cesa Fiber Additives can absorb more heat when exposed to simulated sunlight with the wavelength from 320 to 1100nm. This solution includes two grades, one for polyamide and the other for polyester fibers.

Cesa™ Fiber Additives Light Stabilizers for Synthetic Fibers and Nonwovens Non UV-stabilized fibers exposed to sunlight can suffer color fading and molecular changes that degrade their chemical and mechanical properties, leading to fraying and breakages. The Cesa™ Fiber Additives portfolio includes light-stabilizing and UV-absorbing concentrates for the spin-dyeing process. Additional solutions can be offered on request for other synthetic fibers such as PLA or TPU.
