Part of the ColorMatrix™ Amosorb™ range, ColorMatrix Amosorb Oxyloop-1 is a recycling  enhancer oxygen scavenging additive specifically formulated for use with recycled PET (rPET). The solution is EPBP* -accredited for colored bottle-to-bottle recycling and delivers full oxygen scavenging performance with up to 100% rPET content. The solution is also formulated to increase packaging sustainability; colored bottles containing this additive are classified as recyclable for bottle-to-bottle recycling streams.

LUXEMBOURG – October 11, 2021 – Avient today announced the launch of new bio-filled polymer grades at Fakuma 2021, the international trade show for plastics processing. The new bio-filled polymer from Avient has enabled us to reduce the carbon footprint of a range of our products by reducing the consumption of petroleum-based polymers. The hose manufacturer decided to explore other material options that would meet requirements such as excellent colorability, good surface appearance, high flow for optimal productivity, and of course, compliance with U.S. In the course of their research into material options, the manufacturer’s team invited Avient to suggest options for an alternative TPV based on its global reputation for superior products and service. With Avient’s assistance and experience in medical device applications, the manufacturer immediately realized the following lifts:
