These injection moldable TPEs can be overmolded to polypropylene (PP) and come in a natural grade that can be easily colored. Most Versaflex™, Dynaflex™ and OnFlex™ materials (and Versalloy™ TPV alloys) are suitable for two-shot or insert molding onto a PP (and in some cases, PE) substrate. This will promote ease of dispersion. • Styrenic (PS) color carriers are recommended for the SBS formulations. • Polypropylene (PP) carriers are recommended for the harder SEBS formulations. • For soft SEBS formulations low-density polyethylene (LDPE) or ethylene vinyl acetate copolymer (EVA) have been used. PP carrier is not recommended for softer grades, as the compound hardness will be affected.
