The MPS incorporates Avient’s custom-formulated GlasArmor ballistic panels that meet Level 3 protection under Underwriters Laboratories (UL) 752 standards for ballistic resistance. Level 3 ensures protection against a .44 magnum lead semi-wadcutter gas-checked projectile.

February 3, 2025 CLEVELAND – February 3, 2025 – Avient Corporation, an innovator of materials solutions, today announced the availability of Cesa™ WithStand™ SX Low Haze Antimicrobial Additives for clear polycarbonate and plexiglass applications.

These panels provide structural bullet-resistant reinforcement to meet UL 752 Level 3 ballistic rating for interior architectural surfaces and components at a lighter weight than traditional panel materials. They are available for protection up to UL 752 levels 1, 2, & 3 test standards for ballistic resistance.
