PROXY SUMMARY Company Operating Performance PolyOne again delivered earnings growth in 2017, driven by broad-based organic revenue growth of 7% and record- setting performances from our Color, Additives and Inks (“CAI”), Performance Products and Solutions (“PPS”) and Distribution (“POD”) segments.
Record performance in our CAI, PPS and POD segments, which delivered operating income of $138.6 million, $77.1 million and $72.6 million, respectively, in 2017.
Strong organic revenue growth and record operating income in CAI, PPS and POD, along with lower share count and taxes, contributed to an 8% and 7% increase in earnings per share and adjusted earnings per share, respectively.
