The soft spoon bowl is overmolded onto the hard polypropylene (PP) spoon, creating a soft feel for the infant's mouth. Specialized chemistries enable TPEs to adhere to many different plastic substrates, including PP, polycarbonate (PC), acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene (ABS), PC/ABS, copolyester, polyamide, and polystyrene.

The kit contains translucent polyethylene terephthalate (PET) and opaque/gradient polypropylene (PP) bottles enhanced with effect pigments, laser marking, and printed sleeves. They are available across multiple polymer systems, including PA6, PA66, PC, POM, PBT, PPS, and PK, and provide comparable performance to conventional internally lubricated grades (link to full press release here).
