Demands and requirements may vary by region and/or industry, so be sure to lean on the material expertise of your supplier to support you in meeting stringent requirements, such as those found in healthcare and food packaging.
These materials are typically opaque, with a sharp melting point, have good strength, excellent wear performance, and good chemical resistance.
We will take the time to fully understand your needs and goals so we can support you in achieving success.

• FIBER-LINE®’s ability to add value to the already
attractive properties of both Kevlar®Para-Aramid &
Nomex® Meta-Aramid creates more opportunity in
the market place to provide solution driven products
to a diverse range of markets.
• Because FIBER-LINE® already processes so many dif-
ferent types and deniers of both Kevlar® & Nomex®,
we have been authorized by DuPont™ to distribute
small quantities of these fibers to an ever-growing
customer base

Benefits of using engineered thermoplastics over
aluminum include:
• Significant cost and weight reduction
• Excellent strength-to-weight ratios that are equal
to or better than non-ferrous metals
• Increased design freedom with the ability
to mold in components and features
YOUR CUSTOMERS EMBODY A
SPIRIT OF ADVENTURE.
Give your outdoor gear that extra grit so that it will
stay the course:
• Provide high-impact strength and
weatherability with materials like continuous
fiber reinforced thermoplastic composite
tapes and laminates
• Keep your exterior finishes gleaming with
material performance enhancements like
scratch and mar resistance and UV stable
additives
• Make your products safer with performance
additives that provide flame resistance and
antimicrobial properties

Other requirements were abrasion resistance and excellent aesthetics.
Avient recommended an OnFlex™-S multicomponent TPE, which offers excellent adhesion to ABS and can be molded at lower temperatures and injection pressures than competitive products.
Gripping feel = safety and usability for customers: Hand grips created from overmolded OnFlex-S TPE provide excellent anti-slip performance even when wet.

In fact, some blends are so unique to the client’s needs that the blend becomes proprietary.
Additionally, thermoset materials can have more chemical and oil resistance, so they may be more suitable than TPEs for applications such as a part under the hood of a car.
Glass or other heavier materials can be replaced with a lighter, TPE-made product so you can fit more inventory on delivery trucks.

ECCOH 5565 has excellent flexibility and environmental stress cracking resistance (ESCR), withstanding up to 20,000 flex fatigue cycles.
It also has good temperature resistance, performing over a broad temperature range, from minus 40 to 80 degrees Celsius and excellent resistance to water absorption.
These formulations also provide excellent UV resistance protecting outdoor/indoor cables from varying weather conditions.
