Apart from the degree of crystallinity, these polymers vary in their base chemistry, which dictates the surface energy or cohesive energy density.
The amorphous content of the polymer, which varies from polymer to polymer, provides the anchor for the interactions occurring at the interface between the rigid plastic substrate and the TPE.
