Several grades of Gravi-Tech materials used for X-ray devices provide radiation shielding performance comparable to that of lead, yet these grades are 37 percent lighter.

For the modal and harmonic analysis, their
first step was to evaluate the eigenmodes, or the
natural vibrations of the system, and determine
which ones were relevant to the study.
The setup was completed by fixing the impact surface of
the hammer and applying a 1g (gravity force = 9.8 m/s/s)
excitation in the X-direction, as shown in Figure 21.
However, the
acceleration gain reported in Figure 22 occurred
at different natural frequencies for each of the
handle materials.

Examples include:
• Unique technologies that improve the
recyclability of products and enable recycled
content to be incorporated, thus advancing a
more circular economy
• Light-weighting solutions that replace heavier
traditional materials like metal, glass and wood,
which can improve fuel efficiency in all modes of
transportation and reduce carbon footprint
• Sustainable infrastructure solutions that increase
energy efficiency, renewable energy, natural
resource conservation and fiber optic / 5G
network accessibility

Senior management believes the measures described above are useful to investors because they allow for comparison to
Avient's performance in prior periods without the effect of items that, by their nature, tend to obscure Avient's operating results
due to the potential variability across periods based on timing, frequency and magnitude.
