Versaflex™ XP Wet Grip Thermoplastic Elastomer
Typically, when TPEs get wet, the kinetic coefficient
of friction (COF) performance is worse, resulting in a
slippery surface.
The Versaflex™ XP 2850 formulation
is a specialty TPE developed to meet the challenge
of wet environments, offering nearly double its dry
kinetic COF when wet for better grip performance.

Microsoft Word - GHS MSDS Changes April 2014 Final.doc
Brian E.
What our customers will see:
In mid-April 2014, our newly formulated or significantly reformulated U.S. and European solutions will be
accompanied by a new GHS-formatted MSDS (CLP classification in Europe).
As new formulations are developed, the new format will be
employed, and a GHS SDS will be generated and sent, replacing the previous MSDS in our system.

CLEVELAND – September 13, 2018 – Before PolyOne introduced Versaflex™ XP shock absorbing TPEs to the market, it reached out to an independent testing lab to understand just how well these new materials perform relative to TPUs, one of the most commonly used materials in phone cases.
Results showed Versaflex™ XP shock absorbing TPEs absorbed up to 10 percent more impact than TPU at drop heights of 4 – 8 feet, and over 25 percent more impact at 10 – 14 feet.
In addition, the tests showed that a case made with Versaflex XP TPE dropped from 14 feet performs nearly the same as a TPU case dropped from 10 feet.
