Manufactured using non-fossil feedstocks, the new Mevopur concentrates include polymers with bio-based content between 70 and 100%, as calculated to ASTM D6866 standard.

Tested in accordance with JIS Z2801 and ASTM G21-15 standards, these additives protect molded plastic parts by inhibiting bacterial growth (99.9 percent or more) and resisting fungal and mold growth.

Testing under ASTM D3389 proved that this new material delivers 40 percent better abrasion resistance than a leading competitor’s product, as well as incumbent GLS nylon overmolding grades.

Tested to ASTM D6866, they aim to reduce screen printers’ reliance on fossil fuel-based inks.
