POMMERLOCH, Luxembourg – July 18, 2023 – Avient Corporation today announced it is expanding the manufacturing of its UL-certified Syncure™ XLPE Cross-Linkable Polyethylene Formulations to Europe, helping to reduce lead times for global customers and support sustainable infrastructure.
Syncure XLPE formulations are UL-44, UL-4703, and CSA 22.2 certified materials with FT2, FV1, and VW-1 flame retardant ratings.

Available in unfilled, impact-modified, and flame-retardant grades, these formulations deliver performance that is comparable to PC blends and well suited to high-touch applications, such as point-of-sale devices.
The flame-retardant grade in the series is formulated to meet UL-94 rating 5VA at 3.0 mm and V-0 at 1.5 mm.

These DBDPE-free grades satisfy regulatory and performance demands by using an alternative flame retardant while maintaining UL 44 compliance and comparable performance to traditional Syncure XLPE materials.
