Cesa™ Clean masterbatch additives are formulated to effectively clean process tooling and machinery during material or color changeovers. They are a cost-effective way to help maintain critical production uptime and increase manufacturing efficiencies. They are effective for cleaning both extrusion and injection molding equipment and have the added benefit of being recyclable.

More complexities arose: the addition of an antimicrobial ingredients had an adverse effect on the color harmony. Keeping color harmony was essential, but more importantly, the OEM needed to demonstrate antimicrobial effectiveness to validate performance claims. The resulting Smartbatch solution was developed specifically for the OEM’s patient mobility product, but was so effective that the OEM has plans to incorporate this technology into additional devices currently being developed.
