ColorMatrix™ Optica™ Global PRT Toner Dispersions
Handling and Usage
ColorMatrix Optica Global PRT Red and Blue
dispersion toners are intended for use primarily
in PET bottle polymer production processes
and, although they are suitable for all polyester
manufacturing processes, are used successfully
throughout the world on all types of PET
production technologies.
The use of heat in an attempt
to drive the toner into solution will result in a
dispersion which is in a state of super saturation.

HOW GLS TPEs MAKE THE DIFFERENCE IN AUTOMOTIVE FASTENERS AND CLIPS
• Low compression set – coupled with good
stress relaxation, our automotive TPEs are
designed to maintain a good seal over time and
reduce noise generated by vibration
• High temperature performance – Avient
automotive TPEs provide good sealing
performance in temperatures up to
100°C/212°F
• Bonding performance - strong chemical bond
to polypropylene, polyethylene,
and polyamide
• Process flexibility - grades can be both
injection molded and extruded
• Easy to color - can be colored at the machine
• Reduced production steps - some grades do
not require pre-drying
• Low VOC/FOG - OnFlex HT™ has been externally
tested to VDA 278 and is proven to help satisfy
vehicle interior air quality (VIAQ) regulatory
requirements
• Single source supply – we can streamline your
supply chain with the ability to provide polymer
colorants, engineered thermoplastics, and
thermoplastic elastomers from a single source
• Global support - we provide production,
technical, and commercial support in locations
convenient to your operations, including North
America, Europe, and Asia

PolyOne’s industry-leading portfolio of
engineered composite panels offers a solution
to these challenges.
Our composite panels are custom engineered
by varying core thicknesses to increase or
decrease stiffness; by varying core materials
(including end-grain balsa, foam or engineered
woods) to increase or decrease weight; by
varying fiber to modify the stiffness-to-weight
ratio; and by varying the base polymer to
increase or decrease strength

LubriOne™ Internally Lubricated Formulations –
PTFE-free Solutions
LubriOne™ Internally Lubricated Formulations are
self-lubricating polymers, offering low coefficients
of friction (COF) and improved wear-resistance
properties for molded parts.

VALUE SOLUTION
Traditionally light blocking was achieved with use
of multilayer HDPE and PET packaging.
Both paperboard and multilayer
polymers restrict design freedom, so that the
packaging is often less than ergonomic.

VALUE SOLUTION
The European Union adopted Guidelines in 2015
establishing that masterbatches with biocidal
function needed to be authorized for use in
European Union.1 As such, masterbatch products
containing aversive or repellent substances are
considered as a biocidal product.2 Indeed, deterring
harmful organisms is a biocidal function.
KEY CHARACTERISTICS
• Compliant with BPR EU No. 528/2012 PT19
requirements
• Designed for incorporation into cable jackets
exposed to rats and termites attack
• Efficacy at low dosing 2–4%
• “Low concern” and long lasting active substance
• Compatible with most polymers
TARGET MARKET AND APPLICATIONS
Appropriate for all applications where cables can be
exposed to rats and termites.
