It helps bring incompatible polymers, such as PP and PE, together by forming them into a homogenous polymer mixture that increases mechanical properties based on polymer modification (link to full press release above).

The breadth of the materials includes Polystrand™ unidirectional tapes made with continuous glass fiber and an expanding variety of resins such as polypropylene (PP), polyethylene (PE), polyethylene terephthalate (PET), polyketone (PK), polyamide (PA), and others, and Fiber-Line™ engineered fiber tapes, made using uniquely processed fibers including carbon, glass, and aramid.

    Overmolded TPEs can be injection overmolded directly onto a substrate including PP, PC/ABS, Tritan, COPE, and others without bisphenol A (BPA), phthalates, or heavy metals.

Provided a more sustainable solution with 60% recycled content while maintaining the performance characteristics of prime PP

They can be injection molded or overmolded onto polypropylene (PP).

Based on polymers such as polypropylene (PP), the new formulations also include a natural filler made from renewable plant sources that would otherwise go to waste.
