When overmolded, GLS TPEs bond permanently and seamlessly to many different plastic substrates, including polypropylene (PP), polycarbonate (PC), acrylonitrile-butadiene- styrene (ABS), PC/ABS, copolyester, polyamide (nylon) and polystyrene (PS). A few grams of a TPE material can often make a major difference in the perceived quality of an item.

The TPEs are formulated without animal derivatives and are suitable for different Shore A durometer ranges. The new range contains shades commonly used in medical devices: yellow, mid and dark grey, mid green, light and dark blue, white, and black. Three standard white colorants in bio-polyethylene are also available for pharmaceutical packaging manufacturers.
